Oil City YMCA News: Scuba Certification Class Offered in April

Scuba ClassOIL CITY, Pa. – The Oil City YMCA is offering a Scuba Certification Class in April and May. This class will teach participants everything they need to know to scuba dive safely.

Everyone that completes the class will receive Scuba Certification.

Scuba will be taught by Jim Flinchbaugh at the Oil City YMCA. Participants will need their own scuba mask, snorkel and fins.

The class will be held each Wednesday from April 20th through May 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost is $375.00 per student with a $50.00 deposit due April 13th.

The minimum age to participate in the class is twelve. Students under 18 must participate with an adult.

A free sample class will be held on April 13th for anyone with interest.

The YMCA hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and closed on Sundays.
