OIL CITY, Pa. – The Oil City YMCA will host Open House for older adults on Friday, January 17.  The event is open to anyone in the community who wishes learn more about the YMCA, classes, programs and memberships.

Visit the Y on Friday, January 17 from 8:30-12:45 pm for the Open House.  A Member Luncheon with friends will be held at 11:00 am.  The Y welcomes new members. Tours and sample programs will be offered for those interested.

Since many people qualify for free memberships through their insurance, the Y encourages all who attend to bring their insurance cards.

Program times include:

• Intro to Fitness 8:30 am
• SilverSneakers Class 8:30 am
• Arthritis Aquatics 9:00 am
• Pickleball 9-11am
• Water Aerobics 10:00 am

The YMCA offers senior and veteran rates as well as financial assistance to anyone who cannot afford the full price of membership.  Applications are available at the YMCA.

The Oil City YMCA hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m, and Sundays 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
