Oil City’s Highfield to Play Football and Baseball at Westminster

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Oil City senior Caden Highfield recently committed to playing football and baseball at Westminster starting next season.

In football, Highfield was Oil City’s leading tackler in 2017 with 117 (11.7 per game) while adding an interception, two caused fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

On offense, Highfield was the Oilers third-leading receiver with 15 catches for 242 yards and three touchdowns.

Westminster went 7-3 last year including 6-2 in the NCAA Division III President’s Athletic Conference in football. The Titans were 9-7 in baseball on the season heading into action Saturday.
