In all Oklahoma State scored on eight of its first 10 possessions with one ending because the Cowboys ran out the clock before halftime and the other with an interception.

Oklahoma State shredded the Panthers defense for 676 yards, including 572 through the air.

Mason Rudolph accounted for 497 of those yards going 23 of 32 with five touchdown passes and an interception.

He threw three scoring tosses to Jalen McCleskey, who had seven catches for 162 yards and three scores.

McCleskey was unbelievably one of four Oklahoma State receivers to have 100-yard receiving days.

James Washington added five catches for 124 yards, Marcell Ateman had four for 109 and a touchdown and Dillon Stoner chipped in five catches for 100 yards and a score.

Justice Hill nearly gave the Cowboys a 100-yard rusher too finishing with 91 yards and two touchdowns on just 11 carries.

Meanwhile, Max Browne continued to struggle at quarterback for Pitt and was replaced in the second quarter by Ben DiNucci.

Browne was 7 of 10 for 60 yards.

DiNucci managed a better game going 13 of 25 for 228 yards and a touchdown – a 14-yard pass to Rafael Araujo-Lopez late in the third quarter – but DiNucci also was picked off twice and was limited to 18 yards rushing despite one nice 23-yard pickup.

The Panthers also scored on a 5-yard Chawntez Moss run and when Jason Pinnock recovered a bad punt snap in the end zone for a touchdown.
