One-Car Crash on Route 308, Driver Escapes Injury

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say around 4:05 p.m. on January 21, a one-car accident occurred on Route 308, at its intersection with Eau Claire Road, Clinton Township, Venango County.

According to police, 58-year-old Viola K. Wagerman, of Sandy Lake, was traveling north on State Route 308 when she came over the crest of the hill at the intersection with Eau Claire Road. She lost control of her 2006 Ford Fusion, striking the embankment on the eastern roadside. The vehicle traveled along the embankment for approximately 30 yards and struck a speed limit sign along the way.

Wagerman was using a seat belt and was not injured.

She was issued a traffic violation.
