One Dead in Route 62 Crash

TIONESTA TWP., Pa. (EYT) – One person was killed in a crash along Route 62 this morning.

State Police say the accident happened around 9:10 a.m. when John E. Zang, 67, of Butler, was traveling on Route 62 in Tionesta Township, Forest County, when he lost control of his Ford Ranger for unknown reasons.

Police say the vehicle struck an embankment and rolled over before crashing into a wooded area along the roadway.

Mr. Zang was killed as a result of the accident.
