19-Year-old Knox Man Taken to Hospital Following Cranberry Crash

CRANBERRY, Pa. (EYT) – A 19-year-old Knox man was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Cranberry Twp., Venango County, on Saturday morning.

State Police in Franklin said the accident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on Saturday when Christopher Stephens, 19, Knox, lost control of his 2000 Hyundai Tiburon while attempting to negotiate a right turn on SR-322.

Police said Stephens’ vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment with its front-end and driver’s side rear tire before coming to a rest in the westbound lane of SR-322.

Stephens was transported to UPMC Northwest for precautionary reasons and released.

Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.
