One Person Rushed to Hospital Following Three-Vehicle Crash

SANDYCREEK TOWP., Pa. (EYT) – Authorities say one person was transported by ambulance following a three-vehicle crash in Sandycreek Township on Thursday morning.

According to a representative of Venango County 9-1-1, they received a call around 6:50 a.m. for a report of a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Polk cutoff and State Route 8.

Franklin-based State Police, Sandycreek Township Volunteer Fire Department, Polk Fire-Rescue, and Community Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

One person was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries of unknown severity.

The scene was cleared around 8:00 a.m.
