CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a one-vehicle crash occurred Monday afternoon in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 3:29 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 24-year-old Miranda L. Weaver, of Grove City, was operating a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, traveling south on Cranberry Rockland Road in Cranberry Township.

Weaver swerved to avoid a collision with a vehicle that was stopped in the southbound travel lane. Her vehicle hit a stump in the front yard of one of the residences on the western side of Cranberry Rockland Road.

She was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Billy’s Garage.
