One-Vehicle Crash on Route 257; Driver Escapes Injury

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 10:26 a.m. on February 11, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 257, south of East State Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, 66-year-old Connie J. Holowell, of Chester, WV, was traveling south on Route 257, and her 2008 Honda DRV traveled onto the median, striking several road signs.

Holowell corrected, and her vehicle entered back into the southbound lane and came to a final rest in a parking lot on the west side of the roadway, police say.

She was using a seat belt and was not injured.

She was charged with a traffic violation.

Community Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
