BARKEYVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — A tractor-trailer accident occurred last night at Barkeyville exit, in Venango County.

According to Clintonville Volunteer Fire Chief Gerry Rea, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m.
Chief Rea told exploreVenango.com that the tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on Interstate 80, and the operator fell asleep at the wheel and overturned his truck after he drove by the Barkeyville exit.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department, Superior Ambulance, Franklin-based State Police, and Hovis Towing responded to the scene.
The scene was cleared around 12:30 p.m.
The operator and his dog were uninjured, according to Chief Rea.
Plate glass was being hauled, and recovery of the load will be attempted today.
