Pair of Cranberry Junior High Wrestlers Advance to State Tournament

MERCER, Pa. (EYT) – Carl Chelton and Brayden McFetridge had outstanding performances at the Area VI Junior High Wrestling Championships at Mercer Sunday, February 24.

Chelton won the championship at 140 pounds while McFetridge finished second at 167 pounds. Both Cranberry boys will move onto the state championship in Johnstown, Pa., this weekend.

Also having strong tournaments from Cranberry were Walker Willey, who was fourth at 187 pounds, Austin Shoup, who was fourth at 102 pounds and Dakota Woolcock, who was fourth at 167 pounds.
