Pamela L. Ackaoui, 66, of Greentree, formerly of Oil City, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at her home.

Born October 2, 1952 in Oil City, she was a daughter of James Porterfied and the late Patricia Chappel Porterfied, who passed away when Pam was just six years old.

Pam was baptized in St. Stephen Church and was a 1969 graduate of Oil City High School.

She worked in the office at Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh.

Pam loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her father James Porterfied; her step-mother, Abbie Beary Porterfield; three daughters, Michele Barger of Pittsburgh, Heather Morsch and her husband Bill of Tampa, FL, and Denise Yarnell and her significant other, Wes of Franklin; a son, Brian Barger and his wife Casey of Oil City; and four grandchildren, Autumn, Austin, Abigail, and Kelsey.

Also surviving are two brothers, David Porterfied and Matt Porterfield, both of Oil City; a sister, Sarah Waller of Lake City, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Porterfield.

Visitation and a funeral service were held last Friday, January 18 in Carnegie.

Interment was in Lamey Cemetery.
