OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — The Parent-Child Oil Camp will be held Saturday mornings in March at the Venango Museum.

The dates are March 4, 11, 18, and 25 and the times are 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Laura Reasoner Jones will lead the camps where kids and their parents will learn about the history and science of oil, as well as art and oil. The camp ends with a trip to an oil field.

The registration fee is $5.00. Class size is limited to 20 and is for ages 8 to 13.

A snack will be provided, and there will be many hands-on activities.

The camp is held with assistance from the Oil Region Alliance and Bridge Builders.
