PARKER, Pa. — The Parker Bridge dedication has been set for Thursday, May 2, at 2:00 p.m.

Included in the 21-gun salute, will be a name charge from State Bridge to Veterans Memorial Bridge.

State Senator Don White, State Representative Donna Oberlander, and local officials will be participating in this event.

The bridge, which is located at the intersection of Route 268 and 368 in Armstrong County above the Allegheny River, was closed for eight months last year for $4.2 million dollars worth of renovations.
