Parker Polar Bear Plunge to Benefit Local Charities

plungePARKER, Pa. (EYT) – The 11th Annual Parker Polar Bear Club 2017 Plunge will be held on Sunday, January 1, at Parker’s Landing at the boat launch area on the Allegheny River.

Registration is at 10:30 a.m. with the plunge at 2:00 p.m.

The first 400 plungers receive a commemorative T-shirt.

After the plunge, local vendors will have food available.

There will also be a bonfire, refreshments, and entertainment.

All money raised will benefit many local charities, such as Camo Cares, Hunt of a Lifetime, Boys and Girls Club Along the Allegheny, area fire departments, and local children in need.
