Parmalee, Lanco to Headline Treasure Lake Music Festival

| July 1, 2017

parmalee-650-430DUBOIS, Pa. – The Treasure Lake Music Fest, held annually at the former Treasure Lake Ski Lodge, is slated for July 7-8 and expected to be better than ever, with two very popular national country music artists – Parmalee & Lanco – making the trip to DuBois.

7 Bridges, considered by some as the best Eagles Tribute band in the world, will also be performing.

Each of these acts will be supported and opened by local musicians, Kurt Thomas and His Fabulous One Man Band and Nicki Sbaffoni, performing an acoustic sing-along, before Lanco and Parmalee take the stage.

The Treasure Lake Music Fest was started by George Moore and Nathan Sharp in 2004. The very first Music Fest was titled the “Straub Music Fest” and featured George Thorogood as the headliner. Since then, many acts – national, local and of the tribute variety – have graced the stage at Treasure Lake. This year, Sharp Advertising, LLC, will be promoting the Treasure Lake Music Fest in conjunction with the TLPOA (Treasure Lake Property Owners Association).

Advance tickets are only $15.00 for Friday, July 7, and $25.00 for Saturday, July 8, and are available at www.tlmusicfest.com

Tickets at the gate, on the day of the show, will be $25.00 and $35.00 respectively, meaning advance tickets save concert-goers $10.00 each. There will be adult beverages served by the TLPOA. Again this year, Yuengling is the major beer sponsor, but other brands will be on tap, including Budweiser and Bud Light. TLPOA will also be serving picnic style food, such as hot dogs and hamburgers.

Sponsors for this year’s Treasure Lake Music Fest include: Dale Smith Camper Sales; Farmers National Bank; Kurt Johnson Auto Sales; Gio’s BBQ; and Yuengling.

Security is being volunteered by the US ARMY and the WPAL Boxing League.
