patriciaPatricia Ann Johnson, 66, of Oil City, died at 5:43 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

She was born in Buffalo, New York on February 5, 1951 to the late James and Helen (Reid) Johnson.

Patricia was of the Methodist faith.

She enjoyed plants and gardening, canning, fishing, and swimming. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by four children: James LaTona of Illinois, Robert LaTona and his wife Carolyn of Colorado, Vince LaTona of Colorado, and Nicole LaTona of Oil City, as well as their father, Dennis J. LaTona of Buffalo.

Patricia has twelve cherished grandchildren: Joshua Terwint, J.C. LaTona, Mickole Lucas, Tobey and Bobby LaTona, Alyssa Rodgers, and Angelo, Olivia, Bridget, Kyle, Casi, and Maximus LaTona; four great-grandchildren: Neytiri, Ameilya, Leo, and Akeim LaTona, and was expecting her fifth great-grandchild soon.

Also surviving is a former daughter-in-law, Dawn Dennis of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Jeffrey Johnson and his wife Karen of Grand Island, New York; a sister, Donna Loredo and her husband Joe of Oklahoma City; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James “Bubba” Johnson; and her best friend and soul mate, Aline Wilson.

Family and friends are invited to join in spreading her cremated remains Friday (June 23rd) at 7 p.m. in the Acacia Park Cemetery in North Tonawanda, New York.

The Hile-Best Funeral Home in Seneca, Cranberry Township is completing funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to pediatric cancer associations such as St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or St. Baldrick’s Foundation, 1333 S. Mayflower Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016.
