Patricia Ann Turk, 74, of Spruce Street, Brookville, died Monday July 21, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Clarion, Pa.

Born September 13, 1939, Patricia was the daughter of Woodroe R. Smith and Josephine E. Elder Smith of Parker, Pa.

She worked throughout her life and retired from DuBois Regional Medical Center as an X-ray technician.

She loved to read and sing, but most importantly she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend.

Patricia is survived by four children, David C. Turk of Lancaster, KY; Michael W. Turk of DuBois, PA; Kent J. Turk of Cooperstown PA; and Gretchen A. Smith of Brookville, PA. Also surviving are four brothers, Woodroe Smith of Burlington, NC; Kenneth Smith of Punxsutawney, PA; Bradley Smith of Mayport, PA; and James Smith of Corsica, PA; and two sisters, Becky Simpson of Summerville, PA and Mary Jo Smith of Ohl, PA. Additionally, she is survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild, and her brother, Steven Smith.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday at North Fork Heights Apartments with Rev. Nathan Royster officiating.

Visitation will take place at the time of the service.
