FOREST COUNTY, Pa. — Forest County Maintenance Manager Wes Hess announced the following schedule of maintenance for roadways maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in District 1-3, Tionesta, during the week of July 28, 2014.

Pipe Replacement

Jenks Township
Patching

State Route 899
Barnett Township
Patching

State Route 3004
(known as Little Hickory Road)
Green Township
Bridge replacement

State Route 4001
(known as Nieltown Road)

Pipe Replacement

There will also be various locations within Forest County where PennDOT workers will be mowing and sign upgrading.

All activities are weather permitting, and this list is subject to change.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and pay attention to signs and flaggers.
