VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. — Venango County Maintenance Manager Garrett Westover announced the following schedule of maintenance for roads maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation during the week of March 30, 2015.

Venango County Maintenance Schedule:

• State Route 62 (above Reno), Franklin — Ditching
• State Route 62, French Creek Twp. — Patching
• State Route 3021, Congress Hill Road, Sandycreek Twp. — Patching
• State Routes 62,38,157, and 257, Rockland area — Patching
• State Route 8, Barkeyville — Patching
• State Route 3016, Big Ben Road, Barkeyville — Patching
• State Routes 8,36,417, and 428, Cherrytree area — Patching

All activities are weather permitting, and this list is subject to change.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and pay attention to signs and flaggers.

Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers. Look for the work area as soon as the first orange sign is spotted.
