FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — It was announced at the monthly Venango County Commissioners’ meeting on Tuesday night that petitions for the May primary are now available.

Petitions can be picked up in the election office.

There is one exception.

With the Commonwealth’s Congressional District map still up in the air after the State Supreme Court declared the current one to be unconstitutional, there are revised dates for that race. Candidates can pick up those petitions starting on February 27, and they must be back by March 20.
