CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 10:30 p.m. on August 29, a DUI arrest was made on Kennerdell Road, near Old Lisbon Road, in Clinton Township, Venango County.

According to police, this incident was initiated as a result of a traffic stop due to multiple moving violations.

Police say upon making contact with the operator, a 59-year-old Petrolia man, it was found that he had been drinking alcohol.

He was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Charges are pending the result of his BAC (Blood Alcohol Content).

The name of the suspect was not released.
