OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Another Oil City playground is getting some major updates this summer.

According to City Manager Mark Schroyer, the Mitchell Avenue playground refurbishing project recently completed Phase One of the plans for this summer.
“The equipment there was old wood and tire structures that were the norm for the mid-80s, but they were well past their useful life,” Schroyer told exploreVenango.com.
