Pickup Slams into Tree in Jenks Township; Passenger Injured

JENKS TWP., Pa. (EYT) – On Thursday evening, a 14-year-old boy drove a pickup off Little Hunter Road, in Jenks Township, Forest County, sending a passenger to the hospital.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 5:41 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, a 14-year-old Marienville male was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado west on Little Hunter Road when he lost control of the vehicle, left the road, and hit a tree.

Police say a passenger in the Silverado, 45-year-old Maximus McCullough, of Marienville, suffered a minor injury and was taken to Kane Hospital by Clarion Hospital EMS.

The underage driver was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
