Police Discover Unoccupied Crashed Car Along Interstate 80

CLINTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State police discovered an unoccupied, crashed vehicle along Interstate 80 in Clinton Township early Tuesday morning.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 1:12 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, Franklin-based State Police discovered an unoccupied, crashed 2012 Hyundai Sonata at mile marker 34.5 on Interstate 80 westbound in Clinton Township, Venango County.

Police say the crash occurred as the vehicle was traveling west on Interstate 80 when, for unknown reasons, it went off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. It then continued up an embankment where it appears to have come to a final rest. It was then moved back down the embankment and parked on the shoulder of Interstate 80.
