FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Sugarcreek Borough Police filed charges through the Venango County District Attorney’s office against six juveniles for a theft from Lucky Hills Golf Course in Franklin, Venango County.

Police say the incident involved the theft and destruction of several golf carts.

According to police, the charges were filed against juveniles ranging in ages 15 to 17.

The incident occurred sometime between June and July 2014.

Police recovered some of the carts in the wooded area around Rocky Grove and the Two Mile Run Park area.

The juveniles were charged with the following offenses:

– Theft by Unlawful Taking (Motor Vehicle)
– Receiving Stolen Property (Motor Vehicle)
– Criminal Mischief
