FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Sugarcreek Police Department report a Franklin woman is being charged with endangering the welfare of children following an incident at Giant Eagle on Allegheny Boulevard in Franklin, Venango County.

According to police, 20-year-old Brandi Sigler, of Franklin, is accused of leaving a 3-year-old child in an unattended motor vehicle for approximately 5 minutes while in the store.

Police say the incident occurred at 7:20 p.m. February 19, 2016.
