Police Investigate Domestic Dispute in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Oil City Police responded to the scene of a domestic dispute on East Second Street on Christmas Eve.

Around 2:17 p.m. on Monday, December 24, Oil City Police received a report of a domestic dispute inside a vehicle located on East Second Street in Oil City.

According to police, Michelle Peterson exited the vehicle on East Second Street and ran to another vehicle that was stopped behind it and received a ride from the other party back to her residence on Steward Road.

Oil City Police responded to the Steward Road address and made contact with the two parties involved.

Police say Peterson advised the officers that “everything was okay” and continuously attempted to have the officers leave and the male party involved advised that the dispute was verbal and nature and “they had made up now.”

Police say Peterson was charged with Disorderly Conduct due to creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition by an act that served no legitimate purpose.
