Police Investigate Incidents of Criminal Mischief in Cranberry Township

pa-state-police-300x201CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police are investigating two separate reports of criminal mischief that occurred in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

The first incident on July 15 between noon and 10:30 p.m. along State Route 257 in the parking lot of the Dollar General store in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say an unknown perpetrator(s) damaged the passenger door of a vehicle owned by a 26-year-old Titusville woman by striking it with a hammer while it was parked in the store.

The second incident occurred on July 15 between 4:20 p.m. and 7:39 p.m. in the Cranberry Mall parking lot in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) smashed out the driver’s side window of a 2013 Peterbilt tractor trailer (green in color) owned by McClymonds Supply and Transit while parked behind the Cranberry Mall.

No items were stolen from the vehicle.

Damages are estimated to be $200.00.
