Police Investigate PFA Violation, Find Marijuana Plants in Suspect’s Windows

OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 9:45 p.m. on May 15, a drug possession arrest was made on State Route 428, in Oakland Township, Venango County.

According to the report, police arrived at a residence on Route 428 to speak with a known, 43-year-old male suspect, of Oil City, regarding an alleged PFA violation.

Upon arrival, troopers viewed suspected marijuana plants growing in the windows in plain view, according to police.

Troopers were given consent to enter the house by the suspect, and 10 plants were seized, police say.

Charges for the suspect are pending, according to police.

The name of the suspect was not released.
