Police Investigating Burglary in Cranberry Twp.

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a burglary occurred on Horsecreek Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say sometime between 1:00 p.m. on August 9 and 12:00 p.m. on August 11, an unidentified suspect(s) cut a 70-year-old woman’s rear screen door on her Horsecreek Road residence with a knife.

Then, the suspect(s) unlocked the door, gaining entry into the house, according to police.

Police say the suspect(s) stole the following items belonging to the victim:

  • Three necklaces
  • Miscellaneous winter clothing
  • Plavix medication
  • Three totes

The items were inside the totes, which were red, purple, and clear in color, according to police.

The total value of the items is estimated at $1,060.00, police say.

The investigation continues.
