CHERRYTREE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Franklin say a burglary occurred in Cherrytree Township, Venango County.

According to police, an investigation is being conducted into a burglary that occurred along State Route 417 when an unknown actor used a rock to break the glass of the front door and gain entry to a residence.

The individual then took multiple items of a significant value and left the residence, fleeing in an unknown direction, police say.

No other information was released.
