FRENCHCREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say on April 30 an incident of cruelty to animals occurred in Frenchcreek Township, Venango County.

According to police, they are investigating a cruelty to animals which involves several horses.

This is an active investigation at this time, with known suspects, and it involves the consultation of several people which will include the Venango County District Attorney’s office, Animal Cruelty officers, and veterinarians.
