Police Investigating DUI in Cherrytree Township

CHERRYTREE TWP., Pa. — A DUI investigation was initiated after police received a call about a suspicious vehicle in Cherrytree Township, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police said they received the call around 2:30 a.m. on February 7 about a suspicious vehicle parked in the 300 block of Stone Springhouse Road.

Police said a known 29-year-old Centerville man, who was located in the driver’s seat, was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

He was transported to UPMC Northwest where he gave a blood sample that was subsequently sent to a PSP crime lab for analysis.

Charges are pending the results of the analysis.
