FOREST COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – State police say a 39-year-old man fled the scene of an accident in Kingsley Township, Forest County.

According to state police in Marienville, the accident happened on July 24 around 4:00 p.m. when 39-year-old Michael M. Littlefield, of Endeavor, lost control of his 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier while attempting to negotiate a turn on Route 666.

Littlefield’s vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.

Police said Littlefield then fled the scene on foot.

He was cited for careless driving.
