OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, around 8:00 a.m. on July 26, an incident of fraud occurred on Coopertown Road, in Oakland Township, Venango County.

Police are investigating a fraud/forgery case against a known victim.

Police say the victim received a message to wire money to an unknown location.

This case remains under investigation.
