Police Investigating Rape of 15-year-old Girl in Cornplanter Township

CORNPLANTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police have opened an investigation into the alleged rape of a teenage girl in Cornplanter Township.

Around 5:47 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, a 15-year-old female victim and her father arrived at the Franklin-based State Police barracks to report a rape that is alleged to have occurred sometime in the spring of 2018 in Cornplanter Township, Venango County.

Tpr. Nicholas Schmader is the lead investigator on the case.

Due to the nature of the crime, no further details are being released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
