Police Investigating Theft From Seneca Woman’s Bank Account

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police are investigating an incident in which money was fraudulently taken from a local woman’s bank account.

Around 8:42 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, Franklin-based State Police received a call in reference to fraudulent activity that occurred on a known 39-year-old Seneca woman’s bank account.

Police say upon investigation, it was determined that an unknown individual used the victim’s bank account information to make unauthorized purchases online.

The total amount of the funds taken from the victim’s account was $496.79.
