CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Franklin are looking for the owner of an undisclosed amount of cash that was found recently in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police said a Franklin man found the money on a sidewalk outside of Home Depot on July 19 around 2:00 p.m.

The man turned the money in and it is currently in the evidence room at the State Police barracks in Franklin.

Additionally, four receipts were found with the money, which will be used to verify its rightful owner.

The individual who lost the cash is asked to go to PSP Franklin and claim it.
