OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City woman is facing charges after she was found lying under a car along Bissell Avenue late Sunday night.

Around 10:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 26, Oil City Police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Bissell Avenue for a report of a woman acting in a disorderly manner.

Upon arrival, officers found a female, later identified as 34-year-old Kathleen Sperduto of Oil City, lying underneath a parked vehicle.

Police say Sperduto was “yelling, would not listen to commands given by the officers, and had to be physically restrained as she would not comply with verbal commands.”

Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the location but were unable to provide any treatment as Sperduto continued to resist. She was taken by Community Ambulance to UPMC Northwest for medical treatment.

Court documents indicate that Sperduto was arraigned at 9:30 am on Monday, August 27, in Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish’s office on the following charges:

– Resist Arrest/Other Law Enforcement, Misdemeanor 2
– Disorder Conduct Hazardous/Physical Offense, Misdemeanor 3
– Public Drunkenness And Similar Misconduct, Summary

Unable to post $2,500.00 monetary bail, she was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, with Judge Fish presiding.
