Police: Oil City Man Facing Charges After Allegedly Removing Trump Sign from Victim’s Yard

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – An Oil City man is facing charges after allegedly removing a political sign from a yard on Third Street, in Oil City, Venango County.

According to court documents, the Oil City Police Department filed charges against Dennis Clifford, of Oil City.

Court documents indicate that on October 8, Clifford allegedly damaged a new Trump political sign.

The sign was located in a yard on West Third Street in Oil City.

Police say Clifford “was caught on video removing and attempting to destroy the political sign.”

Clifford was issued a certified summons, according to court documents.

He faces a summary offense for Criminal Mischief – Damage Property.
