OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – An Oil City man is facing felony charges after he allegedly used Facebook to solicit nude photos from a 10-year-old girl.

Court documents show that charges were filed on November 22 against 28-year-old Christopher L. King in connection with the case.

According to a criminal complaint filed by Franklin City Police Officer Kutterna, a woman arrived at the police department on November 12 and reported that her 10-year-old daughter was solicited for nude photographs by an adult male.

The woman showed Officer Kutterna a Facebook video and conversation in which King allegedly asked the 10-year-old female to show her breasts.

King allegedly asked the victim multiple times before the girl’s mother became aware of the situation and confronted him.

Further investigation revealed evidence that King had multiple Facebook accounts and had engaged in similar conversations with minor females multiple times over the past four years.

The following charges were filed against King on November 22 at Magisterial District Judge Matthew T. Kirtland’s office:

  • Criminal Use of Communication Facility, Felony 3
  • Unlawful Contact with Minor — Sexual Exploitation
  • Corruption of Minors

He is currently awaiting a preliminary hearing.

The case remains under investigation.
