CHERRYTREE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say an incident of theft occurred at a residence on Shreve Road, in Cherrytree Township, Venango County.

According to police, the incident occurred sometime between 8:00 p.m. on June 19 and 8:00 a.m. on June 20, when an unknown actor removed approximately 30 mixed breed chickens from the above described location.

The actor then fled the scene with the chickens, say police.

The chickens belong to a Titusville woman.
