Police Release Details on Emlenton Woman Accused of Retail Theft at WalMart

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say an Emlenton woman is facing two incidents of Retail Theft that occurred at WalMart, located on Kimberly Lane, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, 44-year-old Susan Holton, of Emlenton, has been accused of the following incidents:

Around 4:29 p.m. on December 4, 2014, Holton allegedly rang several items at the self-checkout using a UPC label from her pocket. She also allegedly failed to ring the following items with the intent to deprive WalMart of full retail value:

– mouse bait
– two pairs of jeans
– sleep set
– chicken
– dog food

The items totaled $78.26.

Sometime between 8:25 p.m. and 8:36 p.m. on December 11, 2014, Holton was at the self-checkout and allegedly failed to scan a DVD and under-rang the following items:

– t-shirt
– a suit
– plasma lamp

The items totaled $59.42.

Holton was charged with Retail Theft through Magisterial District Judge Lowrey.
