Police Release Details on Firearms Violation in Forest County

FOREST COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to Marienville-based State Police, a Firearms Violation occurred at a known firearm shop in Forest County.

Police say this incident was initiated through a request of PA State Police Firearms Division.

According to police, around 6:17 p.m. on May 12, 2014, a known 33-year-old male attempted to gain possession of two handguns while his ability to legally possess the weapons was in question.

The investigation continues.
