Police Release Details on Man Arrested for Public Intoxication in Barkeyville

BARKEYVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Police responded to an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred at the TravelCenters of American in Barkeyville Borough, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police say Gerad Michael Hitchcock, a nonresident of Pennsylvania, was arrested at the above described location after he was asked to exit the Mega-bus he was traveling on.

According to police, Hitchcock was allegedly extremely intoxicated and harassing employees and patrons at the T/A.

He was arrested and placed in the Venango County Jail after being charged with Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness.

The incident occurred around 10:58 a.m. on May 21, 2015.
