Police Release Details on Oil Creek Township Crash

OIL CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police have released information on a two-vehicle crash that occurred last week at the intersection of State Routes 27 and 227, in Oil Creek Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 4:29 p.m. on November 22, 22-year-old Chandra R. Adamowicz, of Kent, Ohio, and Michael A. Belfiore, of Meadville, were involved in the collision.

Police say a 2015 Ford, driven by Belfiore, was traveling west on Route 27 approaching its intersection with Route 227. Adamowicz was at the stop sign on Route 227 and pulled her 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser into the path of the Ford, striking it.

A passenger in Belfiore’s vehicle — 63-year-old Vickie L. Bleasdale, of Guys Mills — was transported to Titusville for injuries of unknown severity.

Adamowicz and Belfiore were not injured.

All occupants were using seat belts.

Adamowicz was charged with a traffic violation.

Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Both vehicles were disabled.

The Chrysler was towed by Thompson Towing.

Leonard’s Towing removed the Ford from the scene.
