CANAL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Franklin report an incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred in Canal Township, Venango County.

Police say sometime between 9:00 p.m. on August 20 and 8:50 p.m. on August 21, an unknown actor(s) entered a vehicle along Whispering Pines Lane and removed a stainless Taurus 9mm semi automatic handgun and fled the scene.
