PRESIDENT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 5:00 p.m. on June 25, a hit and run collision occurred on State Route 62, at its intersection with McCalmont Road, in President Township, Venango County.
According to police, 49-year-old Kimberely A. Lawson, of Cranberry, was traveling south on SR 62 when her 1997 Chevrolet S-10 traveled onto the right berm and struck a guide rail end which disabled the vehicle.
Police say Lawson then parked the vehicle and left the crash scene without notifying authorities.
She was charged with a traffic violation, according to police.
She was not injured in the crash, police say.
